Vesterheim is published twice a year, featuring in-depth articles focusing on the museum’s priceless collections of artifacts, Norwegian-American history and culture, and up-to-date information on all museum events, classes, tours, and education opportunities.
This issue’s theme is “200 Years of Norwegians in America” and it features an article by Curator Laurann Gilbertson detailing the items that tell stories which are part of the exhibit of the same name.
This issue also includes an article on Paul Knaplund by David Faldet entitled “Cod Fisher, Immigrant, Professor: Paul Knaplund’s Moorings,” and “Songbooks” by Sarah Waters.
