Vesterheim is published twice a year, featuring in-depth articles focusing on the museum’s priceless collections of artifacts, Norwegian-American history and culture, and up-to-date information on all museum events, classes, tours, and education opportunities.
This issue’s theme is “Immigrant Dreams, American Giants” and it features an article by John W. Thompson of Thompson Investment Management Inc. detailing the Norwegian-American drive to succeed in “Norwegian Culture Stimulates Success in Business.”
This issue also includes the articles “Fred Kavli: A Dreamer Making Dreams Come True” by Charlie Langton, and “Just One Word – Plastics: The Story of William R. Sauey and the Nordic Group of Companies” from an interview conducted by James Hippen and Steven Johnson as well as an article by Laurann Gilbertson entitled “The Gifts from Norway.”
