STIHL RAPID Micro Harvester Special is a significantly reinforced version of the RMH Harvester chain. RMHS is only available in 2.0 mm (.080 inch) gauge. Like RMH chain, RMHS is designed for use on hydraulic harvester heads only. RMHS chain is a standard-profile, semi-chisel chain made to withstand the tough requirements of professional mechanized timber harvesting with up to 70 percent longer service life than conventional harvester chains. The drive links, tie straps, cutters, and rivets have all been reinforced considerably. This chain is designed to last longer than competing chains to minimize expensive harvester downtime. It is an extremely durable harvester chain. RMHS saw chain is designed for use on hydraulic heads only. STIHL recommends using low-kickback, green-labeled chain and green-labeled reduced-kickback bars on all powerheads.
