Mike Ellingsen’s quilt design is based on the Haugesund coverlet from Vesterheim’s collection. (Vesterheim 1992.001.002-Gift of Barbara Solberg) It is the first in a series of quilt patterns inspired by pieces in the Vesterheim textile collection.
