‘Jelly Roll’ nameko (Pholiota nameko) is a reliable indoor producer that is covered in a layer of natural gelatin when grown with proper humidity. Flushes are large and caps have a spotted appearance when ready to harvest. This species requires cooler temperatures to fruit, and is a good commercial strain if given adequate humidity and proper gas exchange.
Our liquid culture syringes are ~10ml and come sealed in a plastic sleeve with a sterile 16 gauge needle and alcohol wipe.

We recommended inoculation in either a still air box or flow hood to reduce the possibility of contamination. If you plan to re-use your needle, sterilize before and after each subsequent use.
