Vesterheim is published twice a year, featuring in-depth articles focusing on the museum’s priceless collections of artifacts, Norwegian-American history and culture, and up-to-date information on all museum events, classes, tours, and education opportunities.

This issue’s theme is “Home” and it features an article by Miranda Moen detailing the Norwegian-American houses built by immigrants and their later incarnations.

This issue also includes an article on the connection of Somali and Norwegian settlements in the Upper Midwest by Sallie Anna Steiner Piera, Ph.D. entitled “From Roots to Home: Reflections on Norwegian and Somali Settlement in the Upper Midwest,” and “Metalwork: Pieces from Vesterheim’s Collection” by Tom Latané.
