This sauce is crafted by former NFL all-pro offensive center, Nick Mangold. Nick was also known as a foodie who cleverly liked to put twists on his favorite foods and surprise his teammates and friends with his creations. His habitual tinkering led the development of his small batch BBQ sauce – a creation of 3 separate sauces combined into 1 multi-layered taste profile, ideal for slathering, grilling or dipping. This "spicy" version is nuanced with black pepper, jalapeno, and siracha to provide a whole lot of heat. Just as important as the flavor is and BBQ’s mission – as Nick donates a monetary portion of each sale to the answer the call foundation which benefits the spouses and families of fallen first responders.
